Born and raised in Adrian, MI, Garry Clift has been an automobile dealer in his hometown for more than 30 years. He started today’s dealership, then Clift Buick Nissan, in April of 1980. A 1974 graduate of Western Michigan University, Garry always knew he wanted to work with cars. He earned his BA in Business Administration, majoring in Finance and minoring in Automotive Engineering. After realizing he was not destined to become an engineer, Garry took over the local Adrian dealership, adding GMC in 1981 and exchanging Nissan for Buick in 1998. His dealership has grown over the years and so have his talents as a dealer. From 2002 to 2004, Garry served as the Chairman of Auto Dealers of Michigan. In 2007, Time Magazine offered Garry the prestigious Quality Dealer Award. Then, realizing a life-long goal, Garry proudly served as the 2010 President of the Michigan Auto Dealers Association. Garry also contributes much of his time to the community. He has participated in, and often leads, several organizations including United Way, Lenawee Tomorrow, Lenawee Chamber of Commerce, and the Payback for Education Committee. Garry was recognized for his substantial contributions when he won the Maple Leaf Award in 1996, an award his father won 20 years prior. He is active in the Kiwanis Club and was named Kiwanian of the Year in 1997. He is a past president of the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, and has been a Big Brother himself since 2001. Recently, Garry was named an Outstanding Alumnus of Adrian High School. Garry married his lovely wife Su on April 13, 1985 and together they have raised two children, Caroline and Nicholas. |

Licia Campbell Willnow has been employed at Clift since April 1986, joining the staff as the first female salesperson. Licia has been a finance manager and is now the General Sales Manager for Clift's. She was President of the North West Region Sales Managers Club for General Motors and featured in a GM video being recognized as one of the few female sales managers in the nation. Licia has served on the Adrian Area Chamber Board of Commerce, and now serves on Adrian Public Schools Foundation Board, Athena Lenawee Board, United Way campaign circle, and is a member of Zonta of Lenawee. Being employed by Clift's for 25 years, her favorite part of the job is dealing with the customers, and selling to grandchildren of some of her first customers. Licia loves working at a small town dealership where people are treated so well. Licia lives in Adrian, with her husband Steve and son Alex and she enjoys golfing and traveling to warm locations! |

Don is a native of Lenawee County and attended Clinton High School. He and his wife Sandy have 5 kids: Travis, Jordan, Michael, Levi and Stephen. Don and his family attend Tecumseh Church of the Nazarene. Don is a big sports fanatic and enjoys following his kids playing football and lacrosse. Don enjoys playing church softball with his three oldest sons. |

Melissa has worked at the dealership for less than a year, but she has more than 10 years of experience in her field. She loves the variety of her job and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her husband and fixing up their new house.. |

As an employee of Clift Buick GMC, Ross recently celebrated his 30th anniversary with the dealership. The car business has been his livelihood for over 37 years. After graduating from Deerfield High School, attending a community college and serving in the US Air Force, automobiles have been his greatest love. He and his wife, Pat, have two grown children, Jill (Chris Atkin) and Kyle (Amy DeKeyser) and four beautiful grandchildren, Aiden, Carson, Olivia and Landon. Ross and his wife's favorite moments are spending time with them. |

Mike White made the decision to follow in his father’s footsteps and join the automobile industry. So in February of 2003, he joined the Clift Buick GMC Family. Prior to that he was a PGA Professional. He knows he was crazy to give up golf! Mike graduated from Sand Creek High School and went to college at Ferris State University. He and his wife Mandy have three amazing daughters: Brooklin, Cailin, & Morgin. On the weekends when he's not at work, he is usually running all over the state to watch one of his daughters play in a softball tournament & every once in awhile play some golf. | |

Todd is a life-long resident of Adrian. Before coming to the dealership, he was employed at a family business, Welch Cleaners. Todd joined the Clift family over 7 years ago and has met and worked with many wonderful people. He met his wife, Carol, at a high school football game. Three years later, they were married on the football field. They have 4 children, who keep them very busy between sporting events and horse shows and spending time with their grand child. He is a recognized "Mark of Excellence"sales professional, and his mission is to provide a positive buying experience for his customers. |

Diane has been with Clift for over 10 years, and understands the importance of selecting your next vehicle without the "hassles" that are too often part of a dealership experience. Her goal is to provide you with a more streamlined buying experience that focuses on saving you time without any pressure. Diane was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and moved to Michigan in 1990. She currently resides in Pittsford, Michigan. Diane has two grown daughters and a grand-dog, Ms. Sophia, that she enjoys spending time with. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and spending time with friends. She is intrigued with the Civil War, and takes the opportunity when she can to visit Civil War sites and reenactments. Her primary concern is the satisfaction of her customers! |

Your new and used sales consultant, Mark has sold vehicles to customers as far as 2,255 miles away so he knows what it takes to go the extra mile to make sure every customer is happy. Mark graduated from Ferris State University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He grew up in Adrian and graduated from Adrian High School in 2004. He loves the outdoors and likes to golf, fish, hunt and anything else that involves the outdoors. |

Steve is a native of Adrian, Michigan and attended Sand Creek High School. He and his wife Debra have 2 children, Jacob and Olivia. Jake is attending Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan to obtain his teaching degree in History and English and Olivia will be attending Western Michigan University in the fall of 2010 to become Speech Pathologist/Audiologist. His family attends St. Joseph Catholic Church in Adrian and supports St. Joseph Academy/Montessori Children’s House on the campus of Siena Heights University. Steve is a fan of the Detroit Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings and even sometimes, late at night, when he thinks no one is listening, will claim to be a fan of the Detroit Lions. With 2 children going to college you know that Steve will work hard to get you the deal you need. |

Tom is a lifelong resident of Lenawee County and lives in Tecumseh. He has three terrific children: Nic, Alex and Jennifer. He previously worked for Purse Funeral Home in Tecumseh, the City of Tecumseh and Tecumseh Products Company. Tom enjoys college football, NASCAR & traveling. |
