Since opening in 1980, Clift Buick GMC has worked hard to give back to the community. The dealership has received amazing support from the local area, and we feel that it’s only fair that we do what we can to return the favor. Here are some of the organizations with which the dealership and its employees volunteer their time.
 UNITED WAY – The dealership and several employees are active supporters of United Way. Licia Willnow, the General Sales Manager, is a member of the advisory committee. Garry Clift is a past president and campaign chair.  TOYS FOR TOTS & PROJECT LINUS – The dealership serves as a collection center for both organizations, collecting toys and blankets for donation to the community.  LENAWEE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION- The dealership is a member of this organization which works to grow the economy in Lenawee County.  ADRIAN AREA CHAMBER – Clift Buick GMC is a member of the chamber, which works to improve Adrian’s economy.  KIWANIS – Garry Clift is a long-time member and past president (1983-84) of Kiwanis. In 1997 he was named Kiwanian of the Year.  ATHENA – The dealership was presented with the Parthenon Business Leadership Award in 2006, the first year the award was given.  ZONTA – Multiple Clift employees are actively involved in Zonta International, which works to improve the lives of women worldwide.  BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS – Garry is actively involved in BBBS, both as a big brother and as a past president (2005) of the organization.  PAYBACK FOR EDUCATION – The dealership participates in this event every year, allowing local kids to come in and job shadow. Garry is also a member of the committee.  LENAWEE COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION – Garry Clift is a member of this foundation which gives out college scholarships to local high school students.  CIVITAN OF LENAWEE – The dealership is a co-sponsor at Civitan’s “Grand Giveaway” and salesperson Diane Roach volunteers her time with them.  RELAY FOR LIFE – The Clift Buick GMC Relay Team helps raise money for cancer research.  ADRIAN SCHOOLS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION – Licia Willnow, the General Sales Manager, serves as a trustee on this board which supports educational excellence in Adrian Public Schools. |
